The Gruyère Trail Charmey brings runners into the spectacular landscapes of the Fribourg Pre-Alps, with the surrounding mountains providing a unique setting for trail running.

For this project, we were commissioned to create a more creative set of images on the Kaiseregg crest, working directly in the alpine environment rather than focusing on traditional race coverage. We used the terrain, light, and scale of the mountains to create a series of images that place the athletes within the landscape while capturing the effort and atmosphere of the day.
