One of Spain’s leading trail runners and coaches, Andrés García Blanco has built a reputation through consistent performances in some of the world’s most competitive trail races.

For this session, we headed into the mountains of Val d’Aran during the week of Val d'Aran by UTMB, exploring alpine trails and open landscapes that perfectly reflect the environment where Andrés trains and competes. Our aim was to create a collection of images that felt natural and authentic, blending the athlete with the rugged beauty of the Pyrenees.

Beyond the photography, it was a pleasure to exchange thoughts on the current state of trail running, training, and the many challenges that come with competing at the highest level.
